Our Companionship Care Services

Our companionship care services are unique to our clients and are designed to give you the freedom to live life as you wish and maintain your independence to continue doing the things that you love.

Some of the companionship services may include but are not limited to

Company of a friend

The loss of someone you love, limited mobility, no family that live close and no friends that you trust or feel comfortable with. These can be situations that can face us all at any time during our lives. However, a friend who will get you out of your home, take you for a cup of tea, help you with the shopping or just pop in for 10 minutes a few times a week can make a world of difference.

Small Tasks

Often, those small and simple tasks that we have taken for granted can become very difficult due to age, ability or illness. Our companions are here to help you whenever you need then, whether it is doing your shopping and putting it away or making sure that cards and letters are posted so that you don’t miss a birthday. Your companion is here to support you.

Continuing with hobbies and interests

Throughout our lives there are many things that we do and love that are personal to us. We will find a companion for you who shares the same interests so that you can continue to do what you enjoy. Your companion carer will be there to help you with physical activities and hobbies, like swimming, walking or even playing Bingo at your local centre.

Holidays

Holidays can be very restrictive for someone who is not as mobile as they once were, but this is no reason to stop going away or visiting other places. Taking you companion carer will give you the freedom to continue with the things that you love and still travel anywhere, inside or outside of the UK.

Getting from A to B

If you have any issues with driving, our companion carers can get you to where you need to be. They can drive you there, drop you off and collect you later or they can stay with you. The choice is yours. If you prefer public transport like buses or trains, our carers can accompany you on your travels to help as required.

Helping around the house

Housework and cleaning can become a major chore and these once simple tasks can be very challenging. A little bit of help and support from a friendly face can make keeping on top of the cleanliness of your home fun and enjoyable. We know how house proud our clients can be, and rightly so, so if it is difficult, that helping hand can make all the difference.
