Long Term Care involves several different services that are specific to that person’s health or personal care needs for a long period (3 months or more).
By providing these Long Term Care services The Leading Care Company helps our clients live as independently and safely as possible when everyday activities and tasks become too difficult to manage.
Most of the Long Term Care that we provide is at our clients home so that they do not need to go into a care home, hospice or other care environment. This allows our clients to continue to live their lives as freely as possible.
We are there to help and assist with the activities of daily living, such as:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Preparing, cooking and serving food
- Toilet and bathroom arrangements with dignity
- Eating
- Assistance with general mobility
- Lightening the load with shopping, housework and laundry
- Taking medication
- Assistance to get up in the morning and with going to bed at night
- And many more.
Each client is different and requires a different level of care and support, some more complex than others.
Long Term Care can also include other community services such as meals, adult day care, community groups and transportation needs.

Who Are The CQC?
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is an executive non-departmental public body of the Department of Health and Social Care of the United Kingdom. It was established in 2009 to regulate and inspect health and social care services in England.
It was formed from three predecessor organisations:
- The Healthcare Commission.
- The Commission for Social Care Inspection.
- The Mental Health Act Commission.
The CQC’s stated role is to make sure that hospitals, care homes, dental and general practices and other care services in England provide people with safe, effective and high-quality care, and to encourage them to improve. It carries out this role through checks it carries out during the registration process all new care services must complete, inspections and monitoring of a range of data sources that can indicate problems with services.
